Girls Football

Mondays after school 3 - 4pm

A club just for girls to have fun and the chance to play football. We are extremely lucky to have last years Football Activators return to help with this club. It's also great to hear about all the girls who play for Droitwich Spa and West Brom.

Year 6 & 7 Football Match

With our shiny new goals and bright new football kit, the girls had an opportunity to play against Aston Fields Middle School. Year 6 played exceptionally well, making small passes to work their way up the pitch, just like we’d practised in training. Year 7 had a tough first half but soon found their feet in the second half, working more cohesively as a team and using the space. Well done to Lexi and Beau, who were nominated Player of the Match by their team mates. Thank you to Rhys and Archie, who volunteered their time to referee.

Our Football Activators and some of our new footballers took part in a National Girl's Football Festival. They had lots of fun trying out the different activities organised by our Activators.

Lots of girls and lots of fun

Year 7 Silver

Congratulations to our Year 7 girls football team who finished as runners up in last night's 7-a-side competition - here they are proudly showing off their silver medals! #proudschool

Parkside Match

Well done to all of girls involved in the Year 6&7 football matches with Parkside. Great teamwork and effort as always! Thanks also to the parents and family members who came out to support the girls in such cold weather.

Football Activators

It was lovely to welcome last year's #GirlsFootballInSchools Football Activators back into school this evening to help with Girls Football Club following their training last year. Thank you and well done girls! #inspire #challenge #achieve

Girls Football Festival 2021

Although it was raining, the girls had a great time at the Football Festival, organised by Kidderminster Harriers.

Girls Football Festival

Year 7 girls had the opportunity to play in their first ever football matches at a football festival held at Dodderhill School. Although it was pouring with rain, the girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves and developed in confidence and skill the  more they played. Well done. I was super impressed with how you carried on through the mud and cold and still wanted to play more. Thanks to the parents who came along to support as well.
