  • House Knowledge Web Quiz

    All of the children took part in a Virtual Whole School Quiz testing their recall of key facts and vocabulary included in this term's Knowledge Webs. Every correct answer scored a point for their house and the overall results are as follows:

     

    1st - Attenborough - 522 points

    2nd - Bannister - 507 points

    3rd - Turing - 480 points

    4th - Bronte - 423 points

     

    Congratulation to everyone for taking part and of course to Attenborough house for being crowned the house quiz champions!

     

    Well done also to the following children for being the top scorers in their year group:

  • Transition Phone Calls

    To help support all pupils' transition into their new year group for September, class teachers will be making phone calls home on the following days:

  • Beautiful Maths House Competition

    Well done to all of the pupils who participated in the house maths competition recently! It was a really tough decision but the results are in:

     

    1st: Libby Goode (Y6) for symmetry within a piston

    2nd: Drew Hankin (Y6) for an optical illusion puzzle

    3rd: Lexi Steele (Y5) for symmetry and spiral patterns in nature

     

    Each of these pupils received bonus house points for their respective houses!

  • Fundraising for Oscar

    We are incredibly proud to announce that Westacre families have raised a grand total of £687 for Hand In Hand for Oscar during today's non-uniform day! At an average of well over £1 per pupil, this is an amazing achievement - well done and thank you to everyone who donated!
