Blackwell Residential

Day 3

Last nights campfire with lots of singing (We're making a purple ste-e-e-e-w!), laughing and marshmallows has left everyone very tired this morning. Some early risers are excited to get home to tell their adults all about their adventures, some just want to stay here! This morning we'll be having breakfast (we're hoping pancakes) before participating in our final activities!

The sun really shone on our last morning at Blackwell. Despite coming to the end of their adventures, the enthusiasm continued right until the end and so much effort was put into their last activities.

It has been a fantastic few days and we hope the children enjoyed it as much as the staff did! We have been so proud watching their determination and teamwork develop!

Here are all the photos from the trip!

Day 2

Blackwell campers had an early start this morning with first children waking up at 5am! Everyone appears to have slept well so we're off to have breakfast before another full day of activities. The weather is looking better so we're very excited!

After a cooked breakfast AND cereal, activities were started with more enthusiasm and resilience! Sandwiches for lunch and a quick visit to the shop for some for some treats and souvenirs before continuing with more activities this afternoon.

We continue to be so impressed with the children's bravery and resilience with all activities! It has been lovely to see some fantastic teamwork between the children being each others biggest supporters, some new friendships have definitely been formed! Tonight we have campfire with hot chocolate before our final activities tomorrow morning!

Day 1 - Year 6 have had a fantastic start to their Blackwell adventure. They got started with their activities the moment they arrived and despite the rain to start with, their enthusiasm and team work has been brilliant! Activities this morning have included bush craft, team building and 3G swing. We have been so impressed with their bravery, resilience and willingness to give it a try even when they're very nervous. They should be very proud of their efforts! After dinner and some free time to get settled in their tent/pod, they will be participating in some orienteering and rockets!
