The following is an updated guide to our plans for fully reopening school in September:
The following is a letter sent to parents about our policy for wearing face coverings in school:
Staff have been busy preparing school for the children in September, ensuring we follow all government guidelines while still providing the inspiring, nurturing environment we pride ourselves on! Environments across school already have some of the things the children have sent in to us from the recent transition packs on display, but we would love even more children to send their work in.
Following updates to national guidance, pupils are expected to come to school in their PE kit for the day they have PE lessons in school. In order to minimise contact between year groups, each class will have their two weekly PE lessons on the same day.
PE days will be:
- Thursdays for Year 5
- Fridays for Year 6
- Tuesdays for 7LM, 7BD & 7HM
- Wednesdays for 7PC & 7FH
Children will only need to wear their PE kit on their allocated day of the week. On all other days, children are expected to wear full school uniform.
The following is our current full risk assessment for fully reopening school in September. It has now gone through all stages of approval by both our IEB and the local authority.
We have also been advised by Worcestershire School Transport that children using school buses will be asked to sit in allocated areas of the school bus to ensure they remain within their year group bubbles during their journey to and from school as well. The allocated areas will be named as follows:
Year 5 = Lion
Year 6 = Parrot
Year 7 = Alpaca
