Year 6 have been studying computer science this term, looking at search engines, and how networks work. This week, they are looking at the pioneers who made this all possible. Fact files are being created to give us an understanding of who that person was, what inspired them and where they came from, went to school and how they got into technology.
These STEM ( science, technology, engineering and mathematics) pioneers have shaped our lives- perhaps they will be our inspirational people?
Year 6 will be creating flags for their countries in DT. To help them achieve this, today we have looked at creating a paper pattern for their flags, and practicing a running stitch using binka and thread.
