Pupil Premium funding is additional money received from the government to help schools support the learning needs of groups of pupils to ensure that they achieve their full potential. This includes pupils who are entitled to free school meals, children who are looked after by the local authority and HM forces children.
For the financial year 2019-20, Westacre Middle School is forecast to receive £157,080 in pupil premium funding. At Westacre we aim to use a tiered approach as this has been shown to be the most effective model to raise attainment and outcomes.
