Year 6 are working on creating powerful adjectives by incorporating a range of literary techniques. Today, they have used photographs linked to our text, Who Let The Gods Out., to inspire a wider vocabulary.

Year 6 Assembly - 16th September
Our assembly today was led by Mrs Underhill. We celebrated our achievements in and out of school before learning more about Roald Dahl in recognition of Roald Dahl Day!
Year 6 assembly
Today, year 6 have had their first assembly with Mrs Page, our head of year. They were shown the many opportunities for being included in future assemblies, such as TTRS champion of the week, AR reading and Roll of Honour.
For being on the Roll of Honour, children will be rewarded with a name sticker for their water bottle!
They also thought about future opportunities to excel- Olympian Matt Richards sat where they sat not so long ago!
