Thursday 4th June

Thanks to Finley Checketts for sending us pictures of some maths he's been doing at home, involving multi-step addition and subtraction problems. Great job!

Wednesday 3rd June

There is still lots of fantastic effort going into home learning-well done year 6! Today you can see how hard Eva W, Georgia W and Jamie L have been working. Between them they have worked on some English, history, spelling and maths!

Remember to check our year 6 pages everyday to see what challenges you've been set. It is good to keep your brain active and learning new facts and skills.

Tuesday 2nd June

Today, I thought we could do something slightly different for shout-outs! Lots of you at home are probably curious about how school is looking now, and what lessons are like for those children who have returned. Here are a few photos to show how things are slowly returning to normal in Westacre. You might spot a picture of one of your friends!

Shout-outs 1st June

It’s Mrs. P. Morgan here to welcome you back, Year 6! We all hope you had a wonderful half-term break in the glorious sunshine! The shout-outs today are for work you completed just before the holiday.

To kick us off, we have Erin J, in 6CA, who completed fantastic pieces of work in art, geography and maths – excellent ratio work!

Next it’s a huge well done to Eva W, in 6HM, for her super arithmetic and Georgia W, in 6CA, for her equally excellent scale / factor maths work – well done girls!

Another maths superstar is Mary –Jane in 6BP. Well done sweetheart on completing so much amazing maths work. You have shown great understanding of all the areas you have covered. A very big thumbs up!

Harry M has completed some outstanding science work on the human circulatory system and produced some super scaling and factoring maths too. Well done Harry!

Alex P has also been working hard on his maths tasks, with a great looking set of dice!

Finally, Ruby P, in 6BP, has drawn 2 beautiful repeating flower patterns. The second one looks very much like a Tudor Rose.

Well done everybody! It is great to see so much hard work!
