Wednesday 20th October

A big congratulations to Year 5 for all of their super homework inspired by the Mayans this week. We have so impressed by your detailed research and beautifully presented work. Well done!

We listened to Michelle and Barak Obama reading THE WORD COLLECTOR today. This was to launch our Westacre Word Collecting for next half term. We also thought about the power of our words and how it is our responsibility to choose our words carefully and to use them for good.

Congratulations to our pupils on the Roll of Honour this week. It is always great to hear how we are displaying our learning values in class..

We have been able to celebrate another set of children finding their way onto the Roll of Honour this week. It was so lovely to listen to all Year 5 teachers talk about these children continually setting the example to others, by listening attentively, having a fantastic learning attitude and becoming great members of their class.

Well done to all who appeared on this week's Roll of Honour, you should be very proud!
