Congratulations!
Coming to school every day and arriving on time helps you to learn, make friends, feel part of school and achieve your best.
At Westacre, we want every pupil to feel welcome, valued and that they belong. Being in school regularly means you can take part in lessons, activities and opportunities and keep up with your learning.
Good attendance helps you to:
Learn and make progress
Build strong friendships
Feel confident and connected to school
Develop good routines
Take part in clubs, trips and special activities
Be ready for your next steps and future
We understand that sometimes there are genuine reasons why coming to school can be difficult. If you are worried about attending school, tell us. Your Class Teacher, Head of Year, Pastoral Team or another trusted adult will listen and help.
Missing school regularly can make it harder to keep up with learning and can mean missing important time with friends and your class.
We will notice and celebrate good attendance, improved attendance and positive routines.
Most importantly, we want you to remember:
Come to school, be part of Westacre and make every day count.
