Speller Metcalfe
Mrs Page took the prefects to the Leisure Centre building site following the visit to assembly by Speller Metcalfe. It was a fantastic opportunity to see how the project is developing in real time.
To keep everyone safe, we wore full PPE before exploring the site. The pupils learned about the wide range of roles involved in bringing such a large construction project to life, and staff on site were brilliant at explaining their work.
We were especially excited to see the plans for the new build and to watch the dumper trucks in action! It was an informative and inspiring morning for all involved.
