World Book Day
Maths- This week the children have also been learning to read and plot coordinates.
Maths- the children are working on their Geometry skills. Year 5 have been reflecting images.
Science- the children have been investigating the different ways to separate mixtures
English- the children are working on skills to include in their Dragonology writing. Today's focus was fronted adverbials
English- the children start the session with handwriting or spelling practise
Arithmetic- the children have an arithmetic lesson each week. This week they have looked at adding fractions and finding fractions of numbers
Oracy- this week the children have been exploring the Dragonology book and its features. They then began working in groups to create videos about their chosen dragon
