September 17th: Year 5 are developing their map work skills, finding locations using the index page.
September 16th: Year 5 have been discussing their responsibilities they have in school
8th September: Year 5 have been learning about Westacre's Learning Values - this week the focus has been 'Readiness'.
8th September: The children now have their TTRS and Spelling Shed logins. They have been working hard on the ipads and can now access these websites at home as part of their homework.
8th September: In art this week the children have been exploring mixing colours to creates colour wheels

We've had a brilliant start to Year 5, with the children settling in beautifully and getting to know the rhythm of a day at Westacre. They've received their Learning Journals to help them stay organised, begun their first pieces of work in their fresh new books, and—perhaps most importantly—started forming new friendships that will grow throughout the year.
