Attention and Listening
During the school day, children often hear people telling them to, “listen”, “listen carefully” but for some children that can be difficult. Attention and listening skills are at the core of good learning: children need to learn to listen, and look appropriately, and to control their own focus of attention. Attention and listening interventions are held to support children who find it hard to interact and communicate appropriately and effectively. Many enjoyable activities are carried out to help children develop the skills they need.
