Tent Building
The tent building was quite difficult to do! Once we found our spot and got all of the equipment out of the bags, we had almost no idea what we had to do next! There was definitely a lot of learning what to do by making mistakes and looking for ways to overcome them. Communication was really important when we were trying to put them together, but that was difficult at times because everyone had different ideas and different skills. We listened to everyone and found a way to overcome it, though!
When the tents were finally set up, they were actually quite comfortable inside, but it was hot in there for us as well. It gave us a good base to go out and collect wood from that we could have used for a fire if we were really out doing our survival. We enjoyed exploring them, but they were definitely easier to take down than they were to put up in the first place, so that was good! It was a great activity that we all really enjoyed doing.
