Outdoor Learning
This was a lot of fun and something we had all been looking forward to doing since we heard about it before. There was so much we had to do in terms of teamwork and that made it harder in a way, but also meant that we had to speak to people clearly and communicate well. The tree dens were hard to build properly, but we think we did a good job with them! It was different to the tents yesterday because we had to get the materials and the structure to fit properly instead of knowing that there was a proper way to do it, but it was still great!
Then we all got to use saws for the first time as well when we were making wood cookies. That was really fun but we were also a little bit nervous with it because we didn’t want to get the sawing wrong! But we listened well, followed instructions properly and got everything done successfully. It was fun to have made them and good to have finally got to go in the forest area to see what they do there.
