Tent Building

Setting up the tents was a big task because straight away, it looked hard and some of us weren't sure what we had to do. When we had a proper look, it made it easier to see where the tent poles needed to go, and after that our communication got better because everyone could see what the strategy was and how we needed to do the next parts. We definitely needed a lot of teamwork when we were trying to pull the tent up because the pegs kept coming out of the floor and some of the poles were slipping out of their places as well, but it meant we had to work a bit harder.

When we finally got them to go up, we got to play in them and explore from them and that was fun because we got to enjoy the hard work we already put in. We also had a bit of a competition to collect wood if we might need it to make a fire, so that was like a proper survival thing we needed to do. Overall, it was a fun thing to do and it was definitely easier to take them down than it was to get them to go up in the first place!
