Sticky Nature Art
Our last activity of the day was the sticky nature art, which was a good way to finish the day off because it was quite calming and relaxing when you were doing it right. It was stressful in places though because the sticky plastic kept creasing and moving every time we tried to put things on it, but when we flattened it at each end it got a lot easier to do. Collecting the natural leaves, sticks and flowers with our foraging skills was fun, and being able to use the natural things we found made it feel like a nicer piece of art to make and better as well because they were our ideas.
We created and decorated our pieces in lots of different ways: some of us tried to make animals, some of us made natural scenes like forests and woods and some of us did our own thing entirely and just went with a collage effect. It was a really fun thing to do though and we felt proud of the work which we produced, so everyone was happy.
