Tent Building
Tent building was incredibly fun and a great activity to do. At first it was really, really hard because there were a lot of parts to do, and it made it quite difficult to know what needed to happen first. We had to show a lot of resilience and perseverance skills to make sure we put them up properly, and that was hard and annoying at times. It was also important to make sure we communicated with our team properly so that everyone was working on one part together.
When we did this (and got a bit of guidance from our teachers) it made it much easier and we got a great chance to be able to go and explore, to play inside them, which was really fun to do, and to make sure we had a great base to start from for our competition to collect firewood and build the best fire pit. This was really intense because we only had 5 minutes to do it. But we all worked hard and in the end, everyone's tents got built properly and managed to stay up so it was really successful as well!
