Water Cleaning
A lot of this session was about how well we could work as a team and listen carefully to solve the problem of cleaning the water out. We all had a lot of different ideas on how to do this, so it made it difficult at times, but we showed perseverance and started trialling different things at different times until we got to the best strategy for the task.
Making the dirty water was a lot of fun because we got to collect a lot of things from outside and bring them inside and normally we don’t get to do this as much. It was so dirty and so disgusting to look at! Some of us made quite a bit of mess as well, so that was enjoyable for us (but not when we had to tidy it all up at the end!). We were all quite surprised though by how dirty the water started off and how clean it ended up by the time we finished. That was all down to the filter paper, which most of us learned what it is, what it does and how to use it today (after we’d already spilled some water on the tables). A good session, but one that was quite long and challenging until we knew how to solve the problem.
