Junior Duke Award

This year saw the introduction of the Junior Duke Award to Westacre with Year 5 children have had the opportunity to work towards completing their Gold award.

The Junior Duke Award is an initiative aimed at empowering young individuals to explore and enhance their skills in areas such as self-motivation, resilience, and independence. We believe that this program will not only provide valuable experiences for your child but also contribute to their personal growth. The children had to learn new skills and complete tasks such as First Aid, IT, Eco awareness, drama, music and other life skills such as cookery and puncture repair.

Over the weeks, the children have faced the challenges head on and showcased the skills they have worked so hard on - we hope they are very proud of themselves!
