VEX robotics
Year 7 pupils are able to attend a VEX robotics club, held up at Droitwich Spa High School. They are working in teams to build and program working vehicles / robots. Each week we’ll have updated photos of their progress.

This week, one of the groups finished their robot and were able to have a go at using the controls to manouvre it around the arena, practising directions and then lifting blocks. The other group is very close to finishing after some excellent problem solving to fix issues they have encountered.

This week, there was a lot of problem solving involved in getting the vehicle moving, but with a lot of perseverance and teamwork, they were finally able to be controlled.

In our first week, we have worked on collaboration and identification of different parts to begin making our vehicles.
