A creative side to learning….
Year 6 have been creative this week, busily rehearsing their Lion King dances for the parents’ showcases. We’ve seen some very imaginative representations of the jungle animals, and have focussed on height, lifts, patterns and movement to create our spectaculars! We hope all those parents and carers who came into school to watch enjoyed our shows.
Some classes are now completing their phone cases, decorated and sewn using using the machines. Others are completing their various art pieces based on artists from around the world. Banksy (UK) and Esther Mahlangu (South Africa) have been very popular choices to recreate and take inspirations from.
All children will be swapping their CC topics in the next few weeks to study Geography or History.
