Today (Tuesday) we have been cooking Survival snacks of oat bars and made overnight oats to enjoy tomorrow. Oats are a great source of protein, vitamins B6 and B7, which help us to store and use energy from carbohydrates and protein in food, making them a brilliant source of food in survival situations. Our chefs were excellent and made some delicious bars, which they thoroughly enjoyed!
This morning (Wednesday) we have tasted the overnight oats we made yesterday. We enjoyed the taste with a bit of fruit on top, and want to make them again at home.
