In October, Charlie Brooks visited Westacre to talk about his new book - The Super-Secret Diary of Holly Hopkinson - Just a Touch of Utter Chaos!
But even better, he bought Beanstalk the miniature pony with him!
We had a fantastic time when the author Chris Smith visited Westacre in May.
Chris introduced his fantastically funny new book Frankie Best Hates Quests to years 5 & 6.
They found out about Gnoblins, Angel Owls and Ping Wings amongst a whole host of magical creatures. They even invented a new island together - Dreams of my Bed Island!
On Monday 20 June, The Brothers McLeod introduced us to the rather bonkers world of Knight Sir Louis and their new book "Knight Sir Louis and the Sorcerer of Slime"
We learnt how to draw the characters, made our own storyboard and invented our own character!
