All of year 7 have today worked with staff from the Department of Work and Pensions to look at careers, lifestyles and skills. It’s been so helpful to focus on what we might need to work on to achieve our dream lifestyles!
As part of our Forensics lessons, we have been trying to solve a "crime" using different techniques. This week, we used chromatography to test different pens so that we could determine which pen mark was left in the "crime scene".
Year 7 all took part in a careers workshop with Nat West Bank. We learnt what an entrepreneur was, and thought what skills we may need to become one. This got us all thinking about our 10X challenge, after Christmas, where we’ll need to think about business ideas.
