Chess
Chess club is run by Mr Sankey, taking place on a Thursday after school, 3pm-4pm. Each week we meet in Mrs Pledger's room (room 7) and begin playing. If you've never played chess before that doesn't matter! Our group is made up of a variety of skill levels and experience so all are welcome. Having fun is the main priority, so come and give it a go!
Last term we held our first tournament with members of the club playing against each other. Points were accumulated each week, with some very close games between players, in the end we had a single point difference between first and second place! Well done to all who took part.
