5JR have been translating shapes in the playground in Maths today!
5JD Arithmetic Lesson
During our arithmetic lesson, 5JD have been using their oracy skills to develop their understanding of column addition and subtraction and equivalent fractions. They had to work in pairs and give each other instructions to make sure that they answered the questions correctly. They challenged each other if they did not agree with their opinions and demonstrated their teamwork skills.

During our science lessons, the children have investigated which materials would make a good thermal insulator.
