Another year 7 class working with year 5 to share their French vocabulary game!
Year 7 MFL
In our MFL lessons, we have created games to teach French vocabulary. 7AU worked with 5LT to teach them some new phrases. Everyone had a great time and learnt all about colours, places, parts of the body and numbers. Well done to the two groups with their winning games!
7AU Cooking
In 7AU, we are cooking chocolate cupcakes in DT. We are trying to use ingredients and recipes from around the Empire as it links to our topic.
The Big Bang Fair
Half of the year group were very excited to attend the BIG BANG FAIR at the NEC today, Wednesday. The other half will be attending tomorrow.
The fair is full of STEM opportunities (Science Technology Engineering Maths)for the children to have a look at and be inspired by. So many of them entered competitions, took part in activities and talked to the stalls. They were rewarded with stickers, pens, bags and water bottles!
More Assembly Celebrations
In music this week, the children have been recapping their knowledge from last half by playing the quiz game Kahoot. It’s great to see how much they have learned and how much they have remembered.
This week in science, we have been making models of plant cells using items found in the classroom to represent the different parts of the cell.
This week, we have been using a new AI program to discover more about the life of Captain John Smith and his colonisation of Jamestown in America
