Computing Ambassadors

Our wonderful Computing Ambassadors started the year by reviewing our school's class e-safety charter before sharing it with their classes. These were signed by all children in school and are displayed on classroom walls to remind everyone about how we keep ourselves safe online when in school.

More recently, the children have met with Mr Barber and Mrs Hoult. They discussed ways of keeping our school IT hardware safe and have come up with some of their own really creative ideas for displays in the Computing Suite that will help everyone with their learning during Computing lessons. Watch this space to find out more!

10th October has become known as Ada Lovelace Day. The Computing Ambassadors spent our meeting learning about why she has become known as 'The Mother of Computing' and her fantastic achievements during the 1800's. They then took this knowledge and shared it with the rest of their class.

Computing Ambassadors used Wellbeing time to introduce the concept of technology used by people with accessibility difficulties and the developments being made by companies such as Apple.

E-Safety Interviews and Videos

Our computing ambassadors have been busy this term interviewing pupils at lunch time about their thoughts and opinions on e-safety. They have created and edited videos to help promote e-safety within the school:
