Westacre Career's Day 6th February 2026
On Friday 6th February 2026, we were lucky to welcome a range of visitors from a variety of professions, who came and shared their careers experiences with the pupils. The careers covered were marketing, digital marketing, law, engineering, digital nursing, food photography, science, seafood sourcing, construction, IT consultancy, E-learning, police, cricket coaching, beauty and aesthetics, call handling and hospitality. Every class has taken part in a variety of activities from designing their own chocolate bar logos, taking part in a mock trial, creating the best paper aeroplanes and so much more!

The aim of the day is
1. Highlight women in high-level roles of responsibility.
2. Showcase men and women working in roles that challenge gender stereotypes.
3. Present a wide range of sectors (construction, services, creative industries, etc.).
4. Increase pupils’ understanding of career paths.
5. Inspire pupils and help them identify potential future goals
We have had a wonderful day and would like to thank all of the visitors who have taken the time to come and present. Thank you for helping to inspire our children to think about their futures and the opportunities available to them.
