Group 1 - Miss Jordan

Group 1 have had a fantastic start to their time in Blackwell! Their day started with indoor climbing, where they each had a turn at climbing the wall and then learning the importance of belaying the ropes! Next they moved onto high all aboard where the children had to climb to the top of the platform and as an extra challenge they had to see if they could stand up when they reached the top! After lunchtime the children enjoyed a session in the outdoor pool before heading out to play laser tag, this activity was enjoyed by both children and teachers! All of the children had a go at every activity and I have been really impressed with their efforts today!
For dinner the children had an option between Mac & Cheese or spaghetti bolognese and a brownie for desert.
We can’t wait to have some more fun tomorrow!

Group 1 have had another fun packed day! They started their day with breakfast before heading out to enjoy a session of archery. They played archery bingo and individual games as well, where team 1 won with 25 points.
Next up was abseiling where the children went up to the top of the tower and abseiled down, some children managed to come down the tower 4 times! They got to see a fantastic view of all of Blackwell too!
Then it was time for lunch where all of the children sat together and enjoyed their food and had time to catch up with their friends about their busy mornings.
After lunch, they went to the crate stack, they each took it in turns to belay the ropes, tailor, climb and build. The highest stack was 12 crates that was achieved by Josh which is an excellent achievement!
The last activity of the day was the dual zip wire, all of the children had a fantastic time and loved zooming down the zip wire (with an extra loud scream of course!) They were able to go down on their own or with their friends, everyone has had an amazing day, and they are excited to finish off their activities tomorrow. Well done group 1!
Group 1 had a great start to the day to end their time at Blackwell! They started off with the tree treck, where they had to do an obstacle course high up in the trees and ending with a zip wire to get to the finishing line. They even had a race against Izzy their instructor whilst she was on the zip line but the children were running! Lots of fun was had and they are very excited for their last activity at Blackwell.
The last activity of the day before we head home is the fan decender! The children enjoyed it so much, some children did it over 5 times!
They had to climb up to the top of the tower and one they are on the platform they have to jump off! For an extra challenge the children had to take a ball up to the platform and throw it into a bucket on the way down, which unfortunately nobody could make it in!
I’m super proud of every single person in this group, they have tried every activity and have made the experience really enjoyable for everyone, each child has shown fantastic resilience and showed supportiveness to everyone in there group which is something I am very proud of!
